Irish Dogs That People Love the Most

Like their proud people, Irish dogs are very proud of their heritage.

The dogs who call Ireland home all have one thing in common: their individuality.

These bold dogs, which range from terriers to hounds, have created a name

for themselves well beyond Ireland's boundaries, despite their modest origins.

Although the Lurcher is not officially recognized as a breed by the AKC due to its hybrid status, it is still revered as one of Ireland's oldest canine varieties.

These sighthounds originally belonged to a breed that hunted rabbits and hares in the early modern era.

Because of his companionship nature, this Irish dog is happy to spend time cuddled up on the sofa with his human family.
